Being able to customize, preview, and print individual student Magnus911 cards will come in handy when a student attend off campus events. Their emergency information will be available to staff, EMT, doctors and whoever may need it in case of an emergency. When a student’s Magnus 911 card is activated, alerts will be sent to selected users, but only for the student that they have access to. You are able to customize and print individual cards from the Student Medical Record (SMR) page.
Go to Front Desk.
Go to Search Student Medical Record drop down bar at the top of the screen, select the appropriate student and click Search.
On the left side of the screen, below Trackers and Group in the Magnus 911 box, click the Print Card option.
Select the fields that you would like to show on the student’s 911 card.
Use the minimum necessary standard and only select the health information required to provide the best emergency care for the student.
911 Card: pulls data from the Student Medical Record to create a smaller Emergency Medical Information card.
Includes the following fields: Student Name, DOB, Magnus 911 PIN
Student Information: pulls data from Vital Health Record.
Includes the following fields: Student Name, DOB, Tracker, Cellphone
Magnus911 Emergency Documents: pulls data from the Magnus911 enabled documents in the Requirement Library.
Includes a list of any compliant documents that are on file for the student.
Health Emergency Contacts: pulls data from Vital Health Record.
Includes the following fields: Relationship, Name, Home Phone, Work Phone, Cell Phone
Insurance: pulls data from the Vital Health Record.
Includes the following fields: Type, Company, Plan Name, Plan ID, Group Number, Primary Subscriber, Subscriber’s DOB, Subscriber/Policy ID, Insurance Phone Number, Coverage Start Date, Coverage End/Renew Date, Status, and Notes
Health Providers: This data is pulled from the Vital Health Record.
Includes the following fields: Specialty, Practice Name, First Name, Last Name, Office Phone Number
Allergies: This data is pulled from the Vital Health Record.
Includes the following fields: Name, Severity, Date of Last Reaction, Epi Pen, Allergy Reaction, Allergy Notes, Signs of Reaction
Medications: This data is pulled from the Vital Health Record.
Includes the following fields: Name, Type, Dose, How Often, Currently Taking, Start Date
Medical History: This data is pulled from the Vital Health Record.
Includes any question with a yes response and associated details.
Next, select Print 911 card.
This will create a preview of the 911 card in a .pdf form.
You can choose to Save or Print the 911 card using your browser options.
User can choose to only print the Emergency Medical Information card by selecting 911 card and Student Information to avoid printing any specific health information and to ensure information is only accessed only in emergency situations.
Note: the Additional Medical Information section of the Vital Health Record is not included on the 911 card.
