The prescription medication tracker is a great feature to track medication administration at a set time during the school day. But what about students that only take medications on an “as needed” basis? Great news, our medication tracker filters will help you meet this need.
Go to Front Desk.
Go to Prescription Tracker.
Locate the student’s name then select the corresponding View link under the Docs column.
Select Add Medication from the bottom section of the student’s prescription tracker.
Enter information into the required medication fields with the red asterisk.
Next to the field What Times: select Other.
In the text box beside Other Time enter: “PRN”.
Only enter medications that will be administered during the school day. Parents should enter any medications received at home. Once you add or modify a medication listed in the student’s medication it becomes school managed and parents cannot make any changes to the entry.
Select Prescription Tracker.
Select Other Time in the Filters drop down box.
Click Medication Schedule. This will return all students with a custom time filter, ie PRN.
