There are several instances when a school may need to edit a student’s Vital Health Record…
Go to Front Desk.
Go to Search Student Medical Record and click Search.
To edit the Vital Health Record, go to Actions and click Edit Vital Health Record. You can also edit the Vital Health Record by clicking view next to Vital Health Record while in the Student Medical Record.
Click on the name of the section that requires editing.
Edit the appropriate information and click Save as Complete or Save and go back to all sections.
Click Close and save for later or Submit for Approval when you are done editing the appropriate sections.
Please note: you will need to contact Magnus Health to turn on the Edit Vital Health Record configuration for your school.
Go to Student Health Tracker.
Search by Student and click Search.
Click Edit on the Vital Health Record requirement.
Click on the name of the section that requires editing.
Edit the appropriate information and click Save as Complete or Save and go back to all sections.
Click Close and save for later or Submit for Approval when you are done editing the appropriate sections.
A school user can save without having to validate all of the required fields. This allows you the flexibility to add whatever data is needed to the Vital Health Record. When you Save as complete it will show a green check for the section, even if a required field is not complete.
Please note: you will need to contact Magnus Health to turn on the School Insurance Policy configuration for your school.
When a parent answers “Yes” to the international question, the system automatically selects “School Insurance Policy” from the Type of Insurance dropdown menu, eliminating the need to complete additional insurance fields. The parent can then simply save the section as complete and move on to other sections of the VHR.
As long as the Edit Vital Health Record configuration is turned on for the school, admins can go back into that international student’s insurance section and add more detail about the school insurance policy if necessary.
