Whether you are launching Magnus for the first time or gearing up for another reenrollment season, you want to take some time to set up your Smart Lists. Smart Lists are dynamic and the search results will always display the most current information about your students.
Create and store common reports that you will run on a weekly basis (ie. noncompliant, pending approval, next action date within a certain time period).
See example Smart List criteria below:
While in Smart Lists, click Create in the right corner of the screen.
1. Name your Smart List: ie Pending – Physical Forms
2. Search for everyone
3. Filter by Requirements
Include individuals who meet ALL of these filters:
Choose Annual Physical Exam Form >Status>Equals>type or select Pending.
Then select the white arrow beside Save to Save and View.
While in Smart Lists, click Create in the right corner of the screen.
1. Name your Smart List: ie NonCompliant Students – VHR
2. Search for everyone
3. Filter by Requirements
Include individuals who meet ALL of these filters:
Choose Vital Health Record >Status>Equals>select the NonCompliant tab.
Then select the white arrow beside Save to Save and View.
While in Smart Lists, click Create in the right corner of the screen.
1. Name your Smart List: ie Students with Prescription Medications form on file
2. Search for everyone
3. Filter by Requirements
Include individuals who meet ALL of these filters:
Choose Prescription Medication Form >Answer (Yes/No)>Equals>select Yes.
Then select the white arrow beside Save to Save and View.
While in Smart Lists, click Create in the right corner of the screen.
1. Name your Smart List: ie Lake Magnus Field Trip – Consent to Treat
2. Search for tracker(s) and/or group(s)
Include individuals who are on: All Trackers>in any>select the applicable group.
3. Filter by Requirements
Include individuals who meet ALL of these filters: Choose Consent to Treatment of a Minor Form >Status>Equals>select the Compliant
Then select the white arrow beside Save to Save and View.
While in Smart Lists, click Create in the right corner of the screen.
1. Name your Smart List: ie Expiring Physicals – Student Athletes
2. Search for tracker(s) and/or group(s)
Include individuals who are on: All Trackers>in any>select the applicable group(s).
3. Filter by Requirements
Include individuals who meet ALL of these filters: Choose Annual Physical Exam Form >Next Action Date>Within the next>enter the desired number of days
Then select the white arrow beside Save to Save and View.
While in Smart Lists, click Create in the right corner of the screen.
1. Name your Smart List: ie Students in Sports w/ Allergies
2. Search for tracker(s) and/or Group(s) and in any of these: (choose group(s))
3. Filter by Requirements
Include individuals who meet ALL of these filters:
Choose Vital Health Record >Status>VHR Sections>type or select Allergies.
Then select the white arrow beside Save to Save and View.
