How to add a student photo

    in Student Medical Record

    It’s important to ensure that the student presented before you matches the student whose info is on the computer screen.  Having the student’s photo attached to their Magnus profile gives you the peace of mind needed to continue administering care.

    • Step-by-Step Instructions
    Go to Front Desk.

    Enter a student’s last name for the filter Student Medical Record and click Search.

    Hover the cursor over the student photo area within the box labeled User Details.

    Click Edit Avatar.

    Click Replace this Avatar.

    Click Choose File.

    Select and Open the file name that contains the student’s photo.

    Click Preview and Crop.

    While holding the cursor down, click and drag over the area you would like to use for your image.  You may also grab the squares to expand and contract the box or drag the box to move it around.

    Once you are happy with the selected area, click Crop and Save.

    Acceptable file types for student photos include:  .jpg, .jpeg, .png, and .bmp

    How to replace a student photo

    Hover the cursor over the student photo area within the box labeled User Details.

    Click on Edit Avatar.

    Click on Replace this Avatar.

    Click on Choose File.

    Select and Open the file name that contains the student’s photo.

    How to remove a student photo

    Hover the cursor over the student photo area within the box labeled User Details.

    Click on Edit Avatar.

    Click on Remove this Avatar.

    Click on Confirm for the question, “Are you sure?”

    How to add a student photo from an individual Student Health Tracker
    Go to Front Desk.

    Click on Student Health Tracker.

    Enter a student’s last name for the filter Search by Student and click Search.

    Hover the cursor over the student photo area within the box labeled User Details.

    Click Edit Avatar.

    Click Replace this Avatar.

    Click Choose File.

    Select and Open the file name that contains the student’s photo.

    Click Preview and Crop.

    While holding the cursor down, click and drag over the area you would like to use for your image.  You may also grab the squares to expand and contract the box or drag the box to move it around.

    Once you are happy with the selected area, click Crop and Save.

    How a parent can add/edit/remove a student photo
    After a parent logs into their parent account, they will click Complete for the appropriate student.

    Hover the cursor over the student photo area within the box labeled User Details.

    Click Edit Avatar.

    The parent has the options to add a new photo, replace, crop or remove a student photo.

    The school has the option to turn off the parent’s ability to manage student photos.  Contact Client Services for assistance with this.
